Volunteers Needed for Frost - Calling rising 7th Grade Parents
This is a time of change for your sons and daughters as they move on to middle school this fall. You can still be involved in student life while in middle school. Frost PTA is in need of parent volunteers for the board positions and various programs like: Bingo Night, Skate Nights, and Hospitality. We really need your help. Middle school goes by quickly, and since it is only two years we do not have a deep pool of parents for continuity, which is why we are reaching out to rising 7th grade parents.
If you are even remotely interested, please contact me at miklos.kiss@cox.net.
Do you have a 6th grader who will be attending Luther Jackson next school year? Consider coming out to Jackson's final PTA meeting of the school year:
The Luther Jackson Middle School PTA invites parents (including those of rising 7th graders) to the final PTA meeting of the year on May 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Luther Jackson Library.

Markers will be collected through June 7 since we will have to pack them and send them off. Thank you for your help.

Reminder About Early Dismissals
As shared in the first day folders, children will not be called out of class for early dismissal after 3:40pm and cannot be released to anyone other than a parent unless that person is on the emergency care card. The exception to the emergency care card requirement would be a release authorized by the parent through an email to MantuaElem.Attendance@fcps.edu received prior to 1pm that day. For “play dates” email or notes from parents of both the visitor and the host will be required for students planning to go home with a friend or neighbor after school. Students without corresponding email or notes will follow their typical dismissal plan. There is a new direct email link on the Mantua ES Website for reporting dismissals and absences to https://mantuaes.fcps.edu/attendance-form
