CRES Student Placement-Parent Input Survey 2019-2020 (All Grades)
It’s hard to believe we are already thinking about next year, however the end of the school year will be here before we know it. As we start planning for next year, if you would like to provide input to be referenced during class placement, please complete this OPTIONAL survey regarding your child's learning environment by Friday, May 10th. This form provides an opportunity for parents to provide input the school will reference as we position your child for continued academic success. Class placements are decided using a myriad of factors, so it MAY NOT be possible to honor all below information. By the end of the school year, your child's classroom teacher has worked hard to place your child into a class for next year and they will reference your input while completing class placements. Click here to access this OPTIONAL survey.

Global Hero Masks
In art class, 5th graders planned out and created masks depicting a unique global hero that is working to eliminate or solve an issue for our global community. Students were asked to include clues that depicted their selected global issue. A variety of issues were selected including: education for all, clean water, protecting our environment, equality for all humans, eliminating poverty, natural disasters and animal rights. Students spent time planning 3 different ideas for a mask. After choosing one idea, they began building their mask using a variety of 2-D paper cutting techniques. If you visit CRES, come by and see our creative masks hanging in the hallways.
