AP Testing Volunteers

AP Testing is quickly approaching. In addition to the counselors, who act as lead proctors, the Student Services department needs PARENT VOLUNTEERS to serve as proctors for the duration of each AP test. Your support is essential to our test security and ability to implement a successful program.

Please review the AP Testing Schedule and consider signing-up via the PTSA volunteer web-page. Except for Comparative Government, all exams will be held in the Main Gym. Please note: You may not proctor your own child during an exam. Please feel free to contact Adriana Meeks, the AP Testing Coordinator with any comments, questions or concerns. Thank you for your continuous support.

The free “shop” to make Prom more affordable also will offer young women less formal dresses and outfits suitable for job interviews, social gatherings, college functions and other occasions.

All students are welcome to visit the PFN Pop-up Boutique at West Potomac in the Girls Team Locker Room (Gunston building, Room 111) on our two “shopping” dates: Saturday, April 6, 10 am - 3 pm and Monday, April 8, 3 - 5 pm (late bus day). Please help us publicize the event so we get a great turnout by sharing the flyer with your student(s) and others interested, on social media if you like.

To ensure this is a successful event, we need many volunteers to help at, or contribute toward, the PFN Pop Up Boutique Friday, April 5 – Monday April 8. Sign up here to join the fun.

Please contact Christy for information about volunteer shifts and other needs.

Finally, our dress and accessory donation collection continues through Friday, March 29. If you’re cleaning out your closet, please consider giving clean, unstained formal dresses, especially for petite and full-figured students; other dresses and outfits; like-new shoes; handbags; jewelry including hair accessories; and NEW, un-used makeup. See the flyer for more details about where to drop off donations.
