 We invite you to participate in the 2019 Fairhill Family Math Night being held TOMORROW! We invite both children and families to participate together. We have purposely connected our Math Night with our Movie Night for an evening of fun and learning.
Date: Friday, March 29th (tomorrow)
Time: 5:30-6:45 pm
First session: 5:30-6:00 (adults and students attend together)
Second session: 6:15-6:45 - (adults only- students go to movie- see below)

Grades K & 1 - Number Sense Progression
Description: Students will create a subitizing game to take home and families will learn about number sense in kindergarten and first grade.

Grades 2 & 3 - Computation, Addition & Subtraction with Number Talks
Description: Learn how 2nd and 3rd grade promote computation strategies using number talks

Grades 4 & 5 - Fractions
Description: Learn how 4th and 5th grade students progress from having a basic fraction understanding to being able to manipulate fractions by adding, subtracting, and regrouping.

Dreambox Learning
Description: Learn how using Dreambox Learning can support student’s current learning and encourage them to work and achieve at advanced levels.

K-6 Tips & Tricks for Home
Description: Come join us to learn ways to support your child’s math learning at home! You will walk away from this session with ideas to deepen your child’s engagement with math in the real world.
