MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

April is Month of the Military Child (MOMC)

Schools are encouraged to plan activities to recognize the military connected youth in our school community and to raise awareness of the benefits and challenges of being part of a military family. Activity ideas and materials including short videos of FCPS military connected youth, ideas for class room activities and other resources are available to assist in planning. PURPLE UP Day is April 10, 2019 which is a national day of recognition to show support for military youth and families by wearing purple. Why purple? Purple is the color of all the service colors blended together.
