AP Pre-Administration
Herndon will conduct the AP Pre-Administration sessions by grade level. We will have two sessions, which will be held at 9:44 am for all students taking an AP Exam. Students should report directly to the cafeteria. Attendance to your session is MANDATORY. Completing this information ahead of time will save approximately 30-45 minutes per exam. Additionally, this will allow students who have two exams on the same day to have a break between exams. It is also our goal that afternoon exams end at a reasonable time, so students can meet other academic and extra-curricular obligations.
|
The AP pre-administration dates and times are as follows:
- Wednesday, April 10th – Sophomores & Juniors at 9:44 am in the Cafeteria
- Thursday, April 25th – Seniors at 9:44 am in the Cafeteria
We need 100% participation from each student taking an AP Exam. Please plan to attend.
AP Exam Fees and Billing Information
In early April, AP exam invoices will be sent via MySchoolBucks to the parents/guardians of students who are testing beyond the first six exams paid by FCPS. Parents and guardians can pay the fees using a debit or credit card through www.myschoolsbucks.com. Please see the FAQs below for questions regarding AP exam billing. https://www.fcps.edu/testfees-questions.

SOL & AP Season - Personal Electronic Devices are Prohibited
As SOL and AP season is approaching, we want to remind families that electronic personal devices of any kind (phones, watches, etc.) are prohibited inside the testing environment. Please be aware that any personal devices carried into the testing environment will be subject to the school’s established procedures for addressing this as a test security concern. In past instances, a student’s access to a personal device in the testing environment has been identified as attempted cheating and must be reported to the state as a testing irregularity. Please take the time to remind your child about the importance of maintaining a secure testing environment.
