 Our 4th grade students took a field trip to the Second Street School historical district in Waterford Virginia. They had an opportunity to experience a typical school day in 1867.

Clothes/Shoes Donation Bin Installation
We have had a white clothes/shoes donation bin installed over by the soccer field. Please bring any lightly used clothes/shoes, bagged and place them in the bin. Our school gets a percentage of the weight of items in the bin when it is emptied. This is an easy fundraiser for Centre Ridge while also getting some old items out of your house 😊 All of the donated items will be distributed in the Centreville community.

Kindergarten registration for the 2019-2020 school year has begun. If you need to register a student please stop by the office anytime between 8:45 am and 3:45 pm. No appointment is necessary.

SPRINT SPIRIT WEAR SALE
Missed out on ordering your CRES spirit wear? Don't worry... the PTA will be accepting spirit wear orders from April 2-10. Order forms will be sent via your child's April 2 Tuesday folder.
MUFFINS WITH MOM
The PTA invites students to bring their mom, grandmother, or aunt to school on Friday, April 26 from 7:30-8:20 a.m. We will serve muffins, coffee and juice to honor all of our wonderful moms and mother figures.
LOOKING AHEAD
The PTA is looking for a new president and Treasurer for the 2019-2020 school year. PTA Board members serve for a term of 2 years, and these two key positions are REQUIRED in order to keep the PTA going. Without the PTA events such as Bingo Night, Family Movie Night, Donuts for Dads, Muffins for Moms, and teacher appreciation week will no longer continue. The PTA is also a huge support to our school. The PTA sponsors after school programs led by teachers such as Young Ladies in Motion and Art Club. We also raised funds to purchase much needed classroom projectors for 12 of our classrooms.
