Twenty-four students attended the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) conference last weekend. Four Edison students qualified to compete in the States later this year!

Our Model UN students attended the “Future We Want” Model UN’s International Conference in New York City last weekend. They gathered with 2600 other students from 126 nations to deliberate and present solutions on pressing world issues such as clean water, women’s health issues, education, security among many others. Two of our Eagles, Reem Ali and Kheira Bekkadja, received honorable mentions in their respective committees and our students were praised for their position papers by both the Director of the Italian Academy of Diplomacy (IAD), and HelpMYMUN.org co-founder, key sponsors of the conference. |

Last weekend the EHS Dance Team -- Maya Duncan, Addis Simonik, Araya Sojo, Asia Young, Jordyn Dart, Emilie Ivy, Arya Rajesh, Morrigan Riggle, Aliya Taher, and Esmeralda Pinto -- performed at the “Battle at the Capitol” at National Harbor. With over 400 dance and cheer teams in attendance, they shined! Our dancers even took a Master class with celebrity choreographer Chase Benz. |
As you know, the ANGP is once again hosting a mulch sale to support the safe, drug-free and alcohol-free event for seniors to celebrate their graduation. This annual event relies on fund-raising to give our graduates an evening to remember!
