Are you beginning to think about life after high school? Does the college admissions process leave you confused or stressed? West Potomac Student Services has answers for you! Erin Slater, Director of Admissions at Randolph-Macon College, will present “College 101,” an interactive workshop that explains how to find the right college match for you or your student. All sophomore students, parents and guardians are invited to hear “College 101” at our Sophomore Parent Night on Tuesday, April 9 at 6:00pm in Kogelman Theatre. No RSVP is necessary.

Student Services is excited to offer a day to focus on college and career exploration for our current juniors! We will be holding a field trip for our current juniors on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 from 9:30-1:00 at the Gum Springs Community Center. Buses will transport students to Gum Springs Community Center and back to West Potomac. Students participating will receive a pizza lunch upon returning to WPHS. All students participating must ride the buses. Students received a packet through their advisory which includes a permission form to return to Student Services to Ms. Carter, Ms. Simpkins-Church, Ms. Jefferson-Dixon or Ms. Castro. Students should receive permission from the BLUE day teachers. If you didn’t receive the packet today you can find it here. The trip has room for the first 300 students who turn in their permission slip form.
