STUDENT SAFETY & KISS AND RIDE
Please plan accordingly when dropping off and picking up students during the busy morning and afternoon hours. DRIVING SAFETY TIPS: Please use our kiss n’ ride. Students are not allowed to be dropped off on Westmoreland. Drive slowly in our front parking lot and PLEASE DO NOT drive between the cones which are set up for safety of students and staff. There are always students and adults walking in that area (especially before school and after 2:35 p.m.). KISS AND RIDE DIRECTIONS Please go to the following link for kiss and ride directions: https://fcps.blackboard.com/. ATTENTION PARENTS USING AUTUMN CHASE COURT TO DROP OFF/PICK UP STUDENTS Autumn Chase Court is a private street that has a No Trespassing sign. Please do not use their parking area to drop off or pick up your students. They will be enforcing this no trespassing sign this year. SAFETY CONCERNS Please talk to your students about not cutting across the parking lot and also only crossing Westmoreland at the intersection of Kirby and Haycock. We have had several close calls with students almost being hit by cars in the past because of this dangerous situation.
