Rose Hill International Night Reminder!

International Night at Rose Hill Elementary is quickly approaching. Registration to participate closes very soon, on March 15th. Use Sign-Up Genius to register. Be a part of the largest school’s event of the year!  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040d49abaf28a57-rose

There are many opportunities offered for everyone to share a bit of our school’s diversity. We are inviting you all to join us, and if you prefer, you can wear your favorite traditional garb form your country or U.S. region.

Performances: If you are a musician or a dancer, or if you know of groups or individuals that can entertain us with instruments, songs and/or dances from your culture, WE NEED YOU!!!! Please contact either Mrs. Yoerges at jyoerges@fcps.edu or Sra. Garcia at agquinones@fcps.edu as soon as possible to sign up.

Exhibits: This is a great opportunity to share your tradition, culture, or folklore and more of your native country or U.S. region. You can bring objects characteristic of your native land, or you could create with your child a poster with your native country’s information, photos, map, folklore, fauna, flora and more. Contact Sra. Cruz for more information at spcruz1@fcps.edu.

Flag Parade: Students parade during the event’s opening, representing one of the many countries that make up our school. Contact Sra. Henderson at mlhenderson@fcps.edu for information.

Food Tastings: Have a delicacy that reminds you of "a taste from home"? Please, volunteer to share your culinary skills (or grandma’s) so everyone can taste a bit of our native/family lands.

Can’t wait to see you there!
