PTA is Hosting Parent Education Speaker: Rachel Bailey

“Fostering Internal Motivation in Students”

March 19, 2019, 6:30 (in conjunction with brief PTA meeting)

Description of session:

You want your children to do what they’re supposed to do. But your yelling, begging, bribing, and punishing don’t seem to motivate long-term responsible behavior. In this workshop, you'll learn how to foster children's INTERNAL motivation so that kids do the right thing... even when it's the hard thing.

About the Speaker:

Rachel Bailey is a Parenting Specialist who has been serving families in Northern Virginia for a decade. Besides being a mother of two, she has Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a certification in Positive Discipline. In the past, Rachel has provided services as an ADHD Coach, intensive in-home mentor, and psychotherapist. Currently Rachel provides parents with hands-on tools for raising children who meet their full potential.
