Dear Parents,
We learned from teachers today that some of our students are discussing the "Momo Challenge." This challenge has been circulating on the internet for some time, and features a character called "Momo" who may interrupt YouTube/Kids YouTube videos and games such as Fortnite, and encourages children to do dangerous things. We are not aware of ANY students engaging in the challenge. Though we have not experienced any interference with videos at school, we encourage parents, as always, to be watchful of children's activities online. Are you reading??? Our Read-a-thon fundraiser is underway!
Has your student set up their personal fundraising page? Asked family and friends for donations? Please consider making or asking for a donation to your students' joy of reading. (Donations are not based on the number of minutes read). Classrooms and individuals will receive prizes/rewards for minutes read!
Students: Don't forget to read for at least 20 minutes each day, fill out the reading square, and turn it into your teacher each morning.
Let's raise money for Gunston while getting lost in a good book or two or three.....

2018-2019 Yearbooks can be ordered online using yearbook ID code 12465619 . Order forms were recently distributed to students and may also be purchased with completed forms and checks payable to Lifetouch.

We are accepting Kindergarten registrations for students residing in our boundaries who will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2019. Please notify the school as soon as possible if your child will be attending Gunston ES in the fall.

Kindergarten Orientation will be held on March 20th from 4:00pm-6:00pm
Appointments are necessary to complete registration.
