Spelling Bee
- Did you know that each classroom in fourth through sixth grade held a Classroom Spelling Bee in February?
- The top two spellers from each class went on to participate in the Forestville Bee on Tuesday, February 19th.
- After many many rounds, Zach U became the 2019 Forestville Spelling Bee Champion and Lily C was the 2019 Runner-up.
- We are very proud to have Zach represent Forestville in the Fairfax County Bee on March 17th, 2019.
- The winner of the County Spelling Bee will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. Congratulations to all our spelling bee participants!
Kindergarten Orientation
Forestville Kindergarten Orientation is Friday, April 5th from 9 to 10AM.
- Parents are invited to meet our fabulous administration and kindergarten teachers.

Rising kindergarteners are invited to visit the classroom for special activities with the kindergarten teachers.
- Learn about the kindergarten curriculum, school-wide events, and the
keys to a successful transition.
- Ask questions during our Q&A portion.
- Register your rising kindergartener.
