 Students Intramural Champions from the Lanier Basketball and Futsal Intramural Leagues will face the Lanier Staff Teams on Friday, February 8th.
PTA Lights On After-School Staff vs Student Challenge
The Lanier PTA will sponsor the 2019 Lights On After-School Staff vs. Student Challenge on Friday night, February 8th! This Family friendly event will include games between the Intramural Basketball and Futsal Champions from the recently completed After-School Intramural Season and the Lanier Staff Teams.

6:00 - Doors Open
6:30 - 7:30 - Staff vs. Student Basketball Game
7:45 - 8:45 - Staff vs Student Futsal Game
Tickets
Tickets will be on sale for $5.00 during lunches Wednesday, February 6 - Friday, February 8. Tickets will also be available for purchase at Door 7 on the evening of the event beginning at 6pm.
Concessions
The PTA will be selling food and drink, including Rita's Italian Ice, in the cafeteria.
NJHS Night of Giving Raffle
Students and families will receive a raffle ticket for each donated item (see items below). At half-time, four raffle tickets will be drawn. Owners of the raffle tickets will receive a $50.00 gift card!
Food Pantry Drive (shelf-stable, nutritious food items).
Cold weather Clothing Drive (new or gently worn hats, scarves, or gloves)
Animal Shelter Drive (unopened pet food and snacks, dog or cat toys)
The Lanier National Junior Honor Society will sponsor A Night of Giving during the PTA Lights On After-School Staff vs. Student Challenge. A Night of Giving is a celebration of the generosity of the Lanier Community and a chance choose an NJHS-sponsored charity drive to donate to:

Members of the George Mason University Volleyball Team will sponsor the Girls' Volleyball Club on Thursdays from 2:30-4:00pm in the Lanier Gym. The first meeting will take place on Thursday, January 31st. Girls who are interested in participating need to wear athletic attire and be in the gym at 2:30 to participate.
