Wednesday Folder Information
Please find electronic copies of your child's Wednesday folder items on the PTA website. Thanks for going green and accessing these items online each week! If you would like to change your preferences for paper or electronic copies, please contact the office.
Preschool Information Sessions for 2019-2020
If you are interested in our preschool program (FECEP/Head Start) for 2019-2020 school year, please stop by the Parent Center at one of the following times:
- January 15 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
-
February 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- March 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Please bring these items with you:
- Copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Family Income Verification ( example, 2018 tax return, w-2, current pay stubs, employment verification, child support, TANF, SSI etc.)
- Copy of current rental agreement / lease
Olga Simpson will be available to accept applications and answer any questions you might have about the program.
AAP Parent Referrals due Thursday
Thursday, January 10 is the Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) Level IV referral deadline. Parents of students in grades 2-7 may refer for full-time AAP placement.
Parents or guardians of students not in the second grade screening pool may initiate the full-time AAP Level IV screening process by completing and submitting an Advanced Academic Programs Level IV Referral Form to the school. The referral form plus forms for additional optional information are available on the FCPS website and in the Parent Information Packet available at the school.
