February is Black History Month. Let's Celebrate Together!

Introduce your child to books from African-American Authors like Nikki Grimes or Jabari Asim.
Invite your child to learn about African American Inventors such as Garret T. Morgan who invented the traffic light and Lonnie Johnson, an African American NASA Engineer, who invented the iconic squirt toy that we know of as the Super Soaker.
Ask your child if they have any new ideas that they can invent and have them write them down and draw a picture of their invention. Inventors Day is February 9th.
