Advanced Academic Programs: Grade 2 Level IV Screening Pool

Results from the Fairfax County Public Schools fall administrations of the CogAT-Custom Form (CogAT) in grade 2 and the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT2) in grade 1 were used to determine the pool. Current second graders who scored 132 or above on any subtest of the second grade CogAT or 132 or above on the first grade NNAT2 are in the screening pool for the spring 2019 screening cycle.

Parents of students who are in the screening pool will be notified on December 19th via Wednesday folders.  This will be a separate letter from the CogAT scoring report.  Parents will not receive a letter if your child is not in the screening pool.

Second grade students who are not in the pool may be referred by the January 10, 2019 deadline.
