Hughes MS Updates

Principal's Message:

Dear Hughes Parents, Guardians, and Students

We had some exciting events this week. We had a fantastic spirit week and students had so much fun dressing as twins or favorite book characters. Our staff took part in the fun as well! Our SCA, led by Ms. Sobota, coordinated the spirit week and put on our first dance of the year. On Monday and Tuesday we welcomed over 500 rising 7th graders to learn about life as middle school students at Langston Hughes. Current 6th grade students learned all about the different classes, programs, and activities here, toured the school, and also saw performances from our band, orchestra, chorus, and drama students. What a wonderful week displaying the spirit of Hughes!

Sincerely,

Aimée Monticchio

Principal

The tree is located in the main office beside the mail room. Once you purchase your gift please give it to Ms. Sobota or Ms. Degraffenried by Wednesday, December 19th. Thank you in advance for your participation.
