December 10 -19.

Books make perfect gifts!

Students can buy books during their lunch periods

Families can buy books before the PTSA, Band and Orchestra Concerts on the following dates:

12/10/18 – 4:45 to 5:45 pm

12/11/18 – 4:45 to 6:45 pm

12/12/18 – 4:45 to 6:45 pm

12/17/18 – 4:45 to 6:45 pm

12/19/18 – 4:45 to 6:45

Together we can raise a community of readers at Poe Middle School

The Book Fair will take place in the PMS Library

After-School Program News

The After-School Program and National Junior Honor Society will be hosting a Winter Dance on Thursday, December 13th!  The dance will take place during the 2nd block of the After-School Program and late buses will be provided as usual at 4:45pm.  Tickets will be sold for $5.00 before school and in lunches during the week of the dance.  Other After-School Program activities that are normally held from 3:15-4:45 will be cancelled that day, except for activities run by partner organizations (Asian American LEAD and Guitar).

Poe PTSA News

The Poe PTSA is having our next monthly General Membership meeting on December 10th at 6:00pm in the library at Poe Middle School.  We will be having an election at this meeting to fill three positions that have come open.  Elizabeth Avila is the current interim president and will be running for the position of President but the floor will be open to elect anyone interested in filling this position, including staff members or parents.  The two other positions that are open are the position of Vice President, and Treasurer.

Please consider coming out to the meeting and supporting the PTSA!  If you  have any questions about the positions coming open or about the PTSA in general please contact the board at poeptsa18@gmail.com.  Our current officers are:
