 Inclusive Schools Week
December 3-7
OES is fortunate to have a diverse population and we strive to be inclusive and supportive so all feel welcome. During this dedicated week, our staff is partnering with the PTA to highlight inclusive practices and reflect on what more we can do as a community to include everyone regardless of disability, race, gender, age, size, or socio-economic status. Some of the ways that students can demonstrate their learning are:
- Video/Story Contest: Students will have the opportunity to share a video or story about how they have been kind and inclusive towards another student or students at Oakton Elementary.
- Classes will be sharing visually in our hallways their learning about inclusion.
- Students will provide ideas on inclusion on PTV.
We thank you for your continued support in making OES a great learning environment for our entire school community!
