The Franklin Sherman Flash - Nov. 26

What's Happening in 4th Grade?

4th

FSES 4th graders recently took on the role of ecologists in a project based learning experience.  All students were assigned a location in Virginia as a potential site to build a new university.  Student ecologist teams were challenged with determining the implications of building a university at that location.  The 4th graders presented their findings based on the evidence that they collected throughout the unit.

Thanksgiving Luncheon

On Monday, November 19, Franklin Sherman E.S. held its annual Thanksgiving luncheon.  Students, parents, and staff shared a traditional turkey feast together in the cafeteria.  Thank you to Sonali Wickrema, Jessica Lengkong, our wonderful PTA volunteers, and awesome cafeteria staff for making this year's luncheon another success!
