 Dear Hughes Parents, Guardians, and Students,
We are abundantly blessed at Hughes Middle School with a generous community. Thank you to all who contributed to the holiday gift bags for our families in need. We are indeed grateful for the full support of families in our efforts to educate our students. On behalf of my whole staff, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  On behalf of the SCA, a HUGE thank you to everyone that donated to the food drive.
Thanks to our Hughes community efforts, the SCA was able to put together over 20 food bags to send to our Hughes families over the holiday!

 Hughes Advanced Drama Class will present The Day the Internet Died November 29th at 7:00PM in the Lecture Hall. All Hughes families and friends are invited to see this entertaining one act comedy that highlights our dependence on the internet and how a town tries to survive without it. Admission is free!

 The Innovation Lab meets Tuesdays and Fridays after school from 2:30 to 4:00 pm in the Media Center. Students will have the opportunity to interact with various STEM technologies and explore interests in STEM-related fields. Interested students can sign up for the club in person when the club meets

The Hughes MS Library will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from Monday, December 10, through Wednesday, December 12. Kids will have the opportunity to view some new and exciting books! On Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm, there will be a family night where parents will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books as well. I hope to see you there! |
