p2

Hunters Woods has become a partner school with the Positivity Project (P2) for the 2018-2019 school year. We are so excited to join many other FCPS partner schools. The mission of The Positivity Project is to empower students to build strong relationships -- by understanding, appreciating, and living out the 24-character strengths in us all.  This past week the character strength we highlighted was Gratitude. Teachers and teams highlight these themes through morning meetings, books, class discussions or other class activities.  Each week there is a different character strength highlighted, the P2 calendar will help you follow along with what our focus is each week.  There are character cards which may be helpful to you as a parent when talking with your students about the specific character strength.

This week’s character strength: Gratitude

Stay tuned for more information about the Positivity Project! Students will be learning about 24 character strengths and discussing #OtherPeopleMatter.
