 Level IV Advanced Academics Referrals
The deadline for submitting referrals for AAP Level IV for all second through seventh grade students is January 10, 2019. Exceptions to the deadline are not made. Parents should not wait for ability test scores because of the tight timeline. Additional information can be found on the Advanced Academic Programs website under Full-Time Level IV Services and Screening Procedures. For additional information, parents may contact the AART, Maria Holliday or the Advanced Academic Programs Office for support.
Weather and Recess
Each child has a thirty minute recess on a typical school day. All children are expected to go outside for recess, weather permitting, unless a doctor’s note is provided.
As the cold weather is moving in, please send students to school with coats, hats, and whatever other items they may need. Please contact school social worker, Shayna Sargent sjsargent@fcps.edu, if you need assistance with winter wear. We do have warm jackets available.
