Support for Irving Families at Thanksgiving
Irving is partnering with Food For Neighbors to provide Thanksgiving Meals for our families who need some assistance with food. FFN has a goal to provide 225 meals to local families and can put together a complete meal for a family for only $50. It’s an ambitious goal – we’ll need to raise $11,250 to do it. But your donation, combined with those of friends and neighbors, will make it happen.
We have made donating incredibly fast and easy: simply click here to donate with a credit or debit card (or PayPal). Your gift is tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt from us within a few days of making your donation.
Thank you for helping Food For Neighbors provide Thanksgiving Meals to local families in need. We truly appreciate your generosity towards our local community. Please visit our website for more information and contact us if you have any questions: http://www.foodforneighbors.org

Library News
Your seventh grader has a fiction book to read now. Do you know what book they’ve chosen? Encourage their reading by asking them to read a chapter to you!
Thank you for helping to remind your students to return their library books when they are finished with book projects. Our 8th graders should be finished and should have returned fiction books by now. These students will visit the library at the end of November to borrow a book for a second-quarter project; those students with outstanding overdues will not be allowed to borrow books until their record is cleared.
