THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

A Play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett Based upon “Anne Frank:  The Diary of a Young Girl”

Newly Adapted by Wendy Kesselman

Followed by

An Engaging Discussion of the Play’s Thematic Issues

Join Herndon High’s Advanced Theatre students in their Black Box classroom as they present an intimate portrait of a young Jewish girl who comes of age during one of the most horrendous times in modern history—The Holocaust.  See Anne Frank play, laugh, and love.  Sense her fear and isolation as she hides from the cruel Nazis who were sending nearly an entire generation of Jews to their death.  Most of all, marvel in her resilient spirit, as she surprisingly notes “I still believe in spite of everything, that people are really good at heart.”

Parental guidance recommended—Contains violence and mature themes.
