From Head Coach Aziz
Dear Falls Church High School Community,
On Friday night, after the Bell football game vs. Justice High School, I used extremely poor judgement. I modeled poor sportsmanship and character by posting an inappropriate tweet that was hurtful to Justice High School and did not represent the values of FCHS. In addition, I let down our students, staff, parents and community. I sincerely apologize for my actions. I got caught up in the excitement of the Bell game and the District Championship and made a costly mistake; there is no excuse for my actions.
I have been the head football coach at FCHS for 9 years and am proud of our program and what it has done for students, the school, and our community. I regret that my actions on Friday left a blemish on the reputation of FCHS. I hope to rectify my actions by apologizing to the Justice football program, administration, and community. With this letter, I am apologizing to all of you as well.
My plan moving forward is to always be a role model for our students and to represent FCHS with class and dignity. The Bell Game has been a long-standing tradition of a friendly rivalry. I intend to work very hard on fulfilling that tradition and am committed to modeling good sportsmanship and character at all times.
Sincerely,
Said Aziz Falls Church High School Head Football Coach
