Wednesday Folder Information
Please find electronic copies of your child's Wednesday folder items on the PTA website. Thanks for going green and accessing these items online each week! If you would like to change your preferences for paper or electronic copies, please contact the office.
Dear Belvedere Families:
It is a pleasure to share with you that Assistant Principal Lauren Badini and her husband welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby girl this past Thursday, October 25th. Her name is Campbell Elizabeth Badini. Both mom and baby are doing well.
We welcome Ms. Bunny Lancaster, retired FCPS principal, to Belvedere. She will be with us until Lauren’s return in February. Ms. Lancaster has already been in classrooms and team meetings, getting to know students and staff.
The Storybook character parade was a fun way to begin the school day today. Many parents came by to see our students parade inside the school. Our office staff recreated some of the characters of Where's Waldo, surprising students as they walked by. Enjoy the photo!
Parent Surveys
Belvedere is approaching the International Baccalaureate evaluation which happens every five years after a school has been authorized as an IB world school. In preparation for the IB evaluation, the entire school community is asked to reflect on the school’s implementation of the Primary Years Program. To support this process, we kindly ask for your feedback and thank you in advance for completing a parent survey. English and Spanish versions of the survey are linked below.

Missing Forms
The office is missing a significant number of student forms that were sent home on the first day of school as well as many Impact Aid forms. If your student is missing forms, they have been sent home again in today's Wednesday Folder. Please complete and return any forms in your child's folder as soon as possible. Additional copies of any missing forms can also be picked up from the office on Monday or Tuesday. Please consider checking with the office staff when you come for a parent teacher conference to see if you are missing any paperwork.
Thanksgiving Luncheon
Please save the date for our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. Belvedere families are invited to join their students for this event on Monday, November 12. Additional information can be found on the flyer in today's Wednesday Folder.
Calendar Reminders
- Please note that Monday and Tuesday, November 5-6 are student holidays. School will resume on Wednesday, November 7.
- Thanksgiving break is coming up soon. School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 21-23. School will resume on Monday, November 26.
