Fairfax Youth Survey for 6th and 8th Grade Students

The Fairfax County Youth Survey is a comprehensive, anonymous, and voluntary survey given each year to students in grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 that examines behaviors, experiences, and other factors that influence the health and well-being of Fairfax County’s youth. The results of the survey provide a snapshot of the county’s youth and serve as a barometer of the community’s effectiveness in fostering healthy choices in young people. Letters have been mailed to the parents of our 6th and 8th grade students introducing the survey and giving parents an opportunity to opt out of the survey. Parents can view the survey for more information and questions here.  Please return the Opt Out letter to your child’s school counselor by November 7, if you do not wish to have your student take the survey. The survey will be administered during Physical Education classes on November 13 and November 14.
