Tonight!!
Thursday, Oct. 25, from 6:30-8:30 PM (open house format). In addition to having a free treat from Freddy’s ice cream, we will have a Digital Citizenship Celebration. To help navigate our digital world and these amazing laptops all of our students now have, we are planning a variety of events. You do NOT need to stay the entire time. It is a drop-in when you can event. You have two hours to find a little time to explore the following options.
- Meet our SRO, Officer Nunley. He will be discussing Internet and social media safety. In light of the principal’s message about last week’s inappropriate post, perhaps you have questions for him about how to protect your child and others in regards to social media.
- Learn about the wonderful, free resources you have available to you through our FCPS Parent Resource Center.
- Visit with Mr. Bechtel. He can help with ParentVue and technology Issues. Let us help you and your student use our laptops to the fullest.
- Meet Julio Dejo and find out how to locate online the amazing after school activities available to students. Ask questions about activity buses and offer ideas for other opportunities. Perhaps, you can even volunteer to help!
- Join the PTA and find out what they are doing for our Eagles. Find out about the No Fuss Fundraiser. See how you can get involved during the critical middle school years.
- Visit the Impact Aid table and get a jumpstart on completing this vital federal form that help FCPS continue to receive additional federal funding.
- Purchase a yearbook to remember your child’s experience in the Eagle Nation.
- Come and meet other families in our great community.
