This year, Weyanoke moved the annual field day to the beginning of the year. The change allowed for better weather, and also allowed the event to act as a team building experience for classes. When groups were not rotating between stations, they were enjoying a picnic lunch or fun activities in their classes.

 PTA Direct Donation Drive
To fund your child(ren)’s activities, the Weyanoke PTA needs to raise at least $10,000. To reach this goal, we are implementing our 2nd Annual Direct Donation Drive.
A Direct Donation Drive is where we ask families to make a monetary donation directly to the PTA. Last year, in our Second Annual Direct Donation Drive, we raised $3,900, enough to pay for every class to go on a field trip, the Spelling Bee, Science Fair, and other activities. This was especially impressive since not all of our families participated. This year we are asking for every family to participate and reach out to additional family and friends so we can have an even more successful drive.
Donations can be sent to the school in Donation Envelopes or through the Online Portal.
The donation drive goes from October 17th to November 17th . We have given students and classes the opportunity earn to prizes based on donations raised. The kids will be encouraged daily at school during the remainder of the month of October. All donations are tax deductible.
