 Dear Crossfield families,
We continue to be amazed at the generosity and enthusiasm of our community. Your support for the Fun Run is both awesome and humbling. The kids just love it! Since we do not use an outside vendor to host the event, special thanks go out to all our teachers and staff, who energize the kids each day by wearing special outfits, coordinating dance moves, and teaching geography by plotting donations on the map. Your children love watching Fitness Felt and Energetic Eelman each morning on our morning news, WCES! Together we are achieving great things. Thank you.
The Fun Run event is our largest and only fundraising event of the year. This year, however, we are struggling a bit to achieve our goals by grade level, which enable the PTO to continue to run smoothly, as well as cover the overhead for the event itself. Kindergarten has worked hard to reach their fundraising goal of $5,000--this is an awesome display of support by our new families! The other grades aren't far behind, but we still need your help.
With just 3 days till the Fun Run, we ask one more time that you please consider making a donation today. Make a flat donation, or join one of the grade level teams. Donations directly support all children and teachers at Crossfield, by providing supplemental learning experiences, school supplies, teacher training, technology upgrades, and more. We are proud to foster a welcoming community for all.
Thanks for your continued support--through both hours and dollars--you are the heart of our community. Run statistics and details can be found below.
Warmly,
Jill, Lori, and Mark

Attendance
Please remember to call our attendance phone line 703.295.1142 or email Crossfield_ES_Attendance@fcps.edu when your child will be absent or late. If you email teachers/staff directly, don't forget to cc our attendance address. This alleviates confusion when a staff member is out of the building and the information doesn't make it to the front office.
Do You Have a ParentVUE Account?
FCPS is working on a
paperless option for report cards which should be in place by the 2nd
grading period. Once this is in place, you will need to
access your child’s report card through your ParentVUE account. If
you have not yet done so, please visit the site below to set up your
account. Should you have any questions regarding this process,
please contact our registrar, Marianne Showalter, at 703-295-1117 or mshowalter@fcps.edu
