Reflections
For 50 years, National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. The 2018-2019 theme "Heroes Around Me" will spark imagination and creativity in school and at home. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create and submit original works of art in one or all of the available arts categories, which are: dance choreography, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. If your child is interested in submitting an entry, the deadline is November 2nd. Please contact Prassu Mehta at prastavna@yahoo.com for more information and details on how to enter. All work must be the student's own without any outside assistance. Winners will move on to the district, state, and national levels if chosen. For more information, please visit the PTA website.
