The Positivity Project (P2) character strength of the week for this
week is INTEGRITY. Forgiveness is described by P2 as follows: You are honest and
speak the truth. You present yourself
genuinely and sincerely. For more
information, see the Integrity card, or any other character strength card
at https://camelotes.fcps.edu/node/1945.
Digital Citizenship Week is October 15th – 19th! This year’s
focus is on Building a Culture of Shared Responsibility. Each day during the
week parents/caregivers can take simple steps to get in sync and partner
together with teachers to educate and support students with digital life.
Below, you’ll find topics that will be discussed at school and materials
for use at home during the week. By building on conversations that begin at
school and extend into the home we can send a common message from trusted
adults and have big impact on kids! We hope Digital Citizenship Week will spark
some educationally valuable conversations that can be promoted and supported all
year long, by both parents and teaching staff.

we have been directed by FCPS to send home negative account balance letters on
a weekly basis. If your child has a
negative lunch balance, you will find a notice in the Thursday folder. Additionally, the Office of Food and Nutrition Services
(FNS) messaging system contacts parents automatically on Tuesday and Thursday
of each week to inform parents of low (ten dollars or less) and negative
account balances.
