As Seasons Change, So Do We!
Fall is in the air and ACE classes are beginning. There have been myriad changes at ACE over the summer and we’re settling in for what is proving to be a busy and productive fall. The program staff administrative offices moved this summer from the Plum
Center for Lifelong Learning in Springfield to Pimmit Hills Center in Falls
Church. This move created room for additional classrooms allowing ACE to
share Plum Center with students and staff from the Fairfax County Adult High
School. The registration office, educational counselor, adult ESOL
offices along with numerous classes are still located at the Plum Center.
The ACE staff and instructors appreciate your continued support. Please bear
with us, as we’re still getting acclimated to our new surroundings, but soon
the dust will settle and the program will be better than ever.
Come see us whether you’re looking for career classes, ESOL, or enrichment classes. ACE is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your schools and your community!

 Gearing Up for Winter and Upcoming Classes
While we’re busy working on our winter class
schedules, we still have plenty of wonderful fall classes you won't want to miss starting in October,
November, and December! Upcoming classes include: MS Office Word/Excel for Support
Professionals, Spanish 120—Review Special for Beginners, Veterinary Preventive Medicine for Dogs and Cats, Williamsburg Wreath, Fun Physics for Teens, Ceramic Tile, and more!
Brush up on your computer skills, practice your Spanish, get ready for the holidays, and update your home! ACE has something for everyone.

 New This Fall!
ACE is now offering driver improvement clinics! This 8-hour program may result in safe driving points "added" to your driving record. You may even receive a discount from your insurance company (check with your insurance provider first). The driver improvement clinic enhances driver safety, convenience, and comfort by using the most up-to-date research in the field. It provides practical guidance for preventing traffic collisions through instruction on visual scanning techniques, critical driving information, and procedures for handling vehicular and traffic emergencies. *This is the 8-hour driver improvement program delivered by a certified instructor for AAA's driver improvement program. This presentation is available to participants who are court-ordered or enrolled voluntarily. For more information, call (703) 506-2285.
