Next PTA Meeting: The next PTA meeting of the school
year is on Wednesday 10 October, 9:00am. We will be reviewing the Grant
Program, discussing painting the bathroom stalls with inspirational quotes,
Odyssey of the Mind, Spelling Bee, and other topics. The meeting
will feature Kim Perks from “Moms Demand Action”. The Be SMART program
was created as a response to helplessness that accompanies the rising gun
violence. This expressly non-political presentation starts a conversation about
this public health crisis and safe gun storage as something we can all do to
keep our children, families, and communities safe. www.BeSmartforkids.org.
