Gold Out for Pediatric Cancer Awareness

Calendar Reminder:  Schools closed for Students on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8th

All schools will be closed for students on Monday, October 8th for the Columbus Day Holiday.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 9th. 


National Honor Society

10th, 11th, and 12th graders with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible to join the Robinson chapter of the National Honor Society.  The membership application for new members has two parts: a signature/ recommendation sheet and an online application.  Both can be found on at the National Honor Society Membership Portal on Google Classroom using the Class Code mka9k0e.  Both items must be submitted by Friday, October 12.  There will be no exceptions.  Contact Mr. Bird at cwbird@fcps.edu if you have any questions.


MathSpace

The Robinson HS and MS Math Departments invite you to Math Night, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on October 15th in the Recital Hall.  The purpose of the event is to show you MathSpace, our new FCPS on-line resource for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Precalculus.  Bring your laptop or tablet if you'd like to access MathSpace during the presentation.  Students are also invited.  Learn more about MathSpace here:  https://mathspace.co/us

Exciting news!

Robinson High School has two newly published authors!  Meghan Sullivan (12th) and Abby Clark (11th) were published in a book titled, You Do You.  It’s available on Amazon.   

  • Meghan’s essay is titled “Of Starbucks and Shin-Kicking: My Fraught Childhood Attempts at Feminism”
  • Abby’s essay is titled “Girl Stuff”

Powder Puff Football Game

Bring your friends to watch the girls of Robinson compete in a flag football tournament at the stadium football field on Wednesday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m.

We hope to see you at our annual Taste of Robinson on Friday, October 19th from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.  Jump around in our moon bounces, play some games, and have some great "food truck" food before the varsity football game!


Homecoming Dance

The high school dance is on Saturday, October 20th from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. in the Main Hallway.

Did you know?

43rd Annual College Fair and College Night Programs

Fairfax County Public Schools high school students and families are encouraged to attend the 2018 College Fair on October 14th at Fair Oaks Mall and College Night on October 15th at Hayfield Secondary School.  Both events provide opportunities for college-bound students and their families to gather information from a variety of schools.

Approximately 300 colleges and universities are represented, including two and four year colleges, international colleges, and military academies.
