Studio

The GBE News Studio has received a major upgrade thanks to a grant through the Digital Technology Cohort. The GBE News Studio received new cameras, microphones, lighting, teleprompter, and video/sound mixer.  In addition to the new technology for the News Studio the grant also included materials that classrooms could use for video production.

Team Building

We are in need of volunteers for Team Building Day, especially for 5th and 6th grade on Monday, October 15th from 1:45-3:30pm.   We greatly appreciate your help bringing a fun filled day of excitement and cooperation to our wonderful students.

Using Stress to Your Advantage in Achieving Academic Success and Emotional Well Being.  Participants in this conference, which is free to staff, parents, and community members, will be able to choose from 35 breakout options (many offered more than once).  Additionally, there will be more than 50 resource tables available, representing public and private agencies providing wellness-related services within our schools and in our community.

2018-2019  Reflections Theme “Heroes Around Me”

Any GBE student may participate in the National PTA Reflections program which encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts. Since it was founded in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, millions of students have benefited from this program.

Students in Pre-K through grade 12 create theme-based artwork in dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography or visual arts.
