Arts Herndon Children’s Literary Festival & Herndon Elementary
Arts Herndon will be presenting their first Children's Literary Festival this year on Sunday, October 7th from 11 am - 4 pm. This event is free and
open to the public. Herndon Elementary will be partnering with Art Space and we will be showcasing students' writing! Free books will be given to the first 300 kids!!! ArtSpace Herndon is located at 750 Center Street.

PTA Volunteers Needed:
Literacy Room Volunteers

The Literacy Team needs continued support throughout the
year to maintain organization within the literacy room so teachers can easily
access resources. The volunteer(s) would be asked to re-shelve books and
support the Literacy Team with any other miscellaneous needs that may arise.
Just a couple of hours, one Friday a month? Easy!
Movie Night Coordinator: OPEN!
This is an easy way to help offer a FREE event to HES
families. We need someone to coordinate arrange the details of the evening,
including the movie license and popcorn. Movie Night is scheduled for February
15.

2018 LINK Holiday Program Registration
If you wish to register to receive a LINK
Holiday Program for the 2018 Holiday season, you need to REGISTER IN PERSON. LINK will not be
accepting Holiday Program Registrations over the phone.
BRING A PHOTO ID, VERIFICATION OF ADDRESS
(such as a bill) and CHILDREN (such as report cards, medical ID) AND Attend one of the
two Registration Dates below –
Friday, Oct. 5th,
between 5 – 7 pm
Saturday, Oct.
6th, between 10 am – 12 pm
Register at either of these locations on
EITHER of the dates above –
