Would you like
to serve as a liaison to FCPTA Special Education PTA (SEPTA).
SEPTA is a
County-wide PTA founded to support special education students and their
families. It provides valuable information, helps families navigate services,
and advocates on behalf of special education students. It's difficult for local
PTAs to provide consistent, robust support for special education students, and
SEPTA is a terrific partner in fulfilling the need.
Liaison training will be provided Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Media
Center at Robinson SS, 5035 Sideburn Rd., Fairfax, 22032. Training will be
followed by a 7:30 SEPTA meeting, which will include an ideas exchange for
Inclusive Schools Week Dec 3-7. Questions? Please contact Joanne
Walton.
