Hello Wolverine Family!

A huge thanks to everyone who came to our Back to School Open House.  We received great feedback about the event.  We will look to improve upon components of the event for next year but overall it is was a success.  BTSN is only a beginning step in our yearlong commitment to partner with you for the success of our students.

Monday begins our late buses for the school year.  Late bus days are Monday (funded by FCPS) and Thursday (funded by The West Potomac PTSA).  Students must be with a teacher, sponsor, or coach by 3:30 pm otherwise they must leave school grounds.  Late buses beginning boarding between 4:30-4:45 pm.  Please use parent vue to monitor your child’s progress and encourage them to use the late bus days as an opportunity to get support.

Don’t forget next week begins Hippie HOCO our spirit week leading up to homecoming.  Please join us for our game against Centerville on next Friday.

Have a great weekend!

Ms. Millard

Would you like to serve as a liaison to FCPTA Special Education PTA (SEPTA).
SEPTA is a County-wide PTA founded to support special education students and their families. It provides valuable information, helps families navigate services, and advocates on behalf of special education students. It's difficult for local PTAs to provide consistent, robust support for special education students, and SEPTA is a terrific partner in fulfilling the need.

Liaison training will be provided Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center at Robinson SS, 5035 Sideburn Rd., Fairfax, 22032. Training will be followed by a 7:30 SEPTA meeting, which will include an ideas exchange for Inclusive Schools Week Dec 3-7. Questions? Please contact Joanne Walton.
