Fundraiser Drive to Support Franklin Ends Tuesday, September 25th
We are in the middle of our fundraising campaign and we
want to thank you for the outpouring of support by so many families registering
online. We are counting on EVERY FAMILY to participate...in order to reach our
goal.
Since cookie dough orders are non-internet sales, all
orders need to be recorded on the Cherrydale order form contained inside the
fundraiser packet. The total amount of sales and the money collected should
match when turning in the fundraiser packet on or before September 25th.
All checks should be made payable to Franklin Middle School.
Even with the best of intentions, sometimes the packet
gets left at home instead of taken to work. It stays in the backpack instead of
showing it to friends, neighbors and relatives. Haven't started yet? No
problem! There's still time!
Even if you have just a few minutes to spare, click the
link below, our registration process is simple and easy. On the run...and don't
have time to register? Grab the packet and share with friends and family, shop
yourself, or share on social media! Every item sold...DOES make a difference
for our school!

the PTA table last night! We know Back to School Night can be a little
overwhelming, so for those who picked up a membership form to send in or

AMAZING!
THE ONLINE SPIRIT WEAR STORE CLOSES ON
SUNDAY!!
Have you joined the PTA yet?
We welcome and encourage everyone to contribute to the Friends of
Franklin Membership Drive. This
tax-deductible donation will provide resources not funded by the school’s
budget. Our goal is to provide the best
educational experience for all students.
For example, these funds will support student and faculty programs like
NJHS and the Teacher Mentor Program.
There are also enrichment activities including the Parent/Teen Book Club
and the Math Counts Competition.
Lastly, we use these funds to appreciate all of the faculty and staff
here at Franklin and celebrate student’s achievements with end of the year
parties. Our suggested donation is $100 per family, but any amount is
greatly appreciated and puts us closer to our goal. Any donation of $10 and above includes PTA
membership for one parent allowing you to vote on issues affecting the school
and students. To donate and
support Franklin, please click here. Your support is greatly appreciated!!
Dining for Dollar$
The first Dining for
Dollars event is September 24th from 5-9 pm at Chipotle in Franklin

don’t forget to mention FRANKLIN when you are ordering!

This is a reminder about your
service hour requirement as a member of NJHS you are required to complete 15
service hours this year. These 15 hours are separate and in addition to
your Service Learning Hours for Civics. It is important to remember that
NJHS hours MUST be completed in a FCPS school. Check the NJHS Google
Classroom frequently, as we add service hour opportunities as they come
up. You can also take the initiative to find volunteer opportunities for
yourself. Call your elementary school’s main office to see if they have
any events coming up soon that they may need student volunteers to assist.
Remember to take a services hour
verification form with you to every opportunity and have it signed by a teacher
or staff member. When you have completed your verification form, turn
them into the folder outside Ms. Bridenbaugh’s room (101 in the Blue
Pod). If you have any questions about service hours, please reach out to
Ms. Bridenbaugh (mbridenbaugh@fcpsschools.net)
