Come to our 1st PTA Meeting
September 26, 2018
7:00 – 8:00 pm Cafeteria
Will Gibson, School Based Technology Specialist and Jill Connors, Media Specialist will present technology resources that are available for you to access from your SMART phone, laptop at home, the public library, etc. to help reinforce your child's education. Here’s another way to learn how to help your child at home.
We need your help! We
need parent volunteers to help us keep our book room organized. Please let us
know if you are available to come help us alphabetize and put books away so
that teachers can easily and quickly find books for their students. The job is
completely flexible for days and hours; even if you only have ½ hour a week –
it will help! Please contact Amy Dibendetto at 703-799-2000, if you can
help!
We will host an Advanced Academics Information Meeting
in the library on Thursday, October 4th, at 6 p.m. We will review the
continuum of services as well as the identification process and timeline.
All parents are welcome. If you have any additional questions, please
contact our Advanced Academic Resource Teacher, Jessica Stebbins, at jsstebbins@fcps.edu.

During these meetings you will learn an activity and receive the materials needed so you can work with your child at home. This meeting is very important so please make sure to attend. It would be best not to bring your child but we will have babysitting if needed. We look forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks.
