Haycock Hello...9/7/18

week picture

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are now in our second week and have enjoyed watching the wonderful relationships between our teachers and students develop.  We are happy to see the students smiling in the hallways each day.  The PTA has been awesome and provided pizza for the entire staff at Back to School Night.  They have shown support by providing materials and funds to teachers for their classrooms.

Enjoy the weekend!

Augie, Scott and Heather

Safety Drills

Following FCPS protocol, we will hold fire drills once a week for the first four weeks of school.  After that, fire drills will be held once a month throughout the year.  We will also hold two lockdown drills during the first 20 days of school.  We held our first Lockdown drill today and the second one will be held on Thursday, September 13.

Parents will also learn about the referral process for Level IV services.  Please contact Loren Brower (lsbrower@fcps.edu) or Andrea Trumbull (astrumbull@fcps.edu) for additional information.

CogAt Test

All second grade students, and those new to FCPS in grades 3-6, will be given the Cog At test during the week of October 1-5.  Please plan your appointments accordingly.
