WAKEFIELD FOREST ES Weekly Message

Vus class

We had a great first week of school!

We were excited to start our breakfast program last Thursday. Breakfast is available for purchase from 8:25-8:40 AM each day.

Our fifth and sixth graders had a wonderful opportunity to listen to the Woodson marching band on Friday. Information about participating in band and strings went home with our grades 4-6 students last week. This year we will have one band teacher, Nancy Cradler, and one strings teacher, Carey Sleeman, here five mornings a week. Because of this change, once students select if they are participating in band, strings or neither, students in grades 4-6 will be regrouped for specials. This will allow the band and strings students to be grouped more effectively for instructional purposes. More information will be shared once available.
