We are off to a great start
at the Chantilly Governor's STEM Academy this week. Students and teachers are
actively building relationships and diving into their curriculum.
Transportation
Thank
you for everyone's patience with transportation this first week. We had a few
late shuttles at the beginning of the week, but the buses have been running on
a more consistent schedule the last couple days and we expect this to continue
for the remainder of the school year.
Back to School Night
As
a reminder, the Chantilly Academy's Back to School Night will be held on
Thursday September 6, 2018. Parents/Guardians of students from schools other
than Chantilly High School (CHS), can join us from 6:00-6:30 pm. We request
that all parents/guardians of CHS students follow their students schedule based
on the CHS Back to School Night schedule which begins at 6:30 pm. Please note
that parking will be extremely limited based on the anticipated number of
drivers attending. Additional parking is available at Franklin and Rocky Run
Middle Schools and shuttles will be provided.
New On-Line Attendance Form
Parents/Guardians
are now able to enter their student's absence on-line through the Chantilly
Academy website at Chantilly
Academy Attendance Form. Please remember that the Chantilly Academy must be
notified by a parent/guardian if the student is going to miss their Academy
class for any reason. This is in addition to contacting the student's base
school. Parents/guardians may use the on-line attendance form found at the link
above or call 703-222-7496.
