The 2018-2019 school year is off to an outstanding start! We are excited to have our building filled with
the joyful voices of eager learners. Our Back to School event was a tremendous success! We were happy to see record
attendance at the event! We understand that some commitments may have prevented you from attending, and we have asked teachers to share their Back to School information electronically. If you need the information but didn't receive it, please contact your child's teacher.
Boosterthon Update: We are almost halfway through our Fun Run program! At this time, 33% of our students have registered on funrun.com and 20% have obtained pledges. We have already raised $7,800 toward our goal of $25,000! If we reach this goal, students will have the opportunity to vote for one of the three options for the principal challenge:
- Principal Miller gets slimed
- Principal Miller rides a tricycle around school all day
- Principal Miller faces Fear Factor challenges
50 State Challenge: If students can get pledges from all 50 states, teachers will have a tricycle race that the entire student body will watch. We already have pledges from 29 states and four countries! The teacher whose class raises the most funds will receive $500 to spend on his/her classroom!
Weekend Challenge: Students have been given a challenge for the weekend that runs all the way through Labor Day. If
a student receives a total of $2 per lap in new pledges (or $60 in flat donations) or more, over the weekend, they will
receive a bonus prize… the Flick Football... in addition to their normal
prizes! Please visit funrun.com to enter your pledges, and be sure to
watch the Mindspark Mystery Lab videos with your child too.
