Brookfield ES Families,
Welcome to the 2018-19 school year! We wanted to share some important dates and information as you get you ready for the first day of school tomorrow, August 28th.
Daily Schedule
Our
school hours are 8:10 AM -2:55 PM. Our doors open for students at 7:55
AM. Our main office hours are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Kiss and Ride
As schools prepare to open and students get ready to return, parents who drive their children to school are reminded to use the designated Kiss & Ride areas and to observe safety rules.
Please see the aerial map above indicating the designated Kiss and Ride location and buses only entrance.
- Our Kiss ‘n Ride
entrance is monitored by adults beginning at 7:50 am each morning, entrances to
the building open at 7:55 am.
- If you are driving your child to school, please plan to arrive at
Brookfield no later than 8:05 am. Your children need time to get to their
classrooms to unpack, begin morning work, and prepare for their day.
School officially begins at 8:10 am when the tardy bell rings.
- Pull forward
as far as possible into the designated Kiss & Ride lane before loading
or unloading.
- In the Kiss &
Ride line, stay in a single line. It is unsafe to pass other cars.
- Children
should enter and exit cars from the passenger side ONLY.
- PLEASE REMEMBER: No Left turns INTO or OUT of Kiss ‘n Ride.

Cooperate with staff members assigned to the Kiss and Ride area. Staff members
are on duty to supervise students’ safe entrance to and exit from the school

In the afternoon, students will be dismissed at
Kiss & Ride by numbers assigned to cars. Those families using Kiss & Ride for dismissal
must complete an application to receive their car hanger and student tags.

Visitor Management System
We use a visitor management system in our main office in order to to ensure the safety of our students and staff during the school day. You will need your identification each time you enter the building during school hours.
