Dear Frost Families,
We
had a wonderful first week back! The teachers and staff have worked diligently
to prepare for your students next week. We can’t wait until the students arrive
on Tuesday!
I’ve
traveled around to every classroom in the building the past couple of days and
I know, firsthand, that we are going to start off the year hitting the ground

We will update the photo gallery with pictures of student life each month to
give you an idea of what your students do each and every day at Frost! Finally,

Notes from Student Services
As a
reminder, students cannot enter the building prior to 7 AM due to limited adult
supervision. Those students who arrive before 7:10 will be directed to the
cafeteria. At 7:10 all students may go to lockers or first period classes.
If a student
does not know his or her first period, please tell them to report to the
cafeteria where staff will be able to provide the information. All students
will get a new schedule in first period. This will include the student’s locker
information (which appears to not be showing in SIS).
Clarifications
on the students’ schedules- Period 8 is the Falcon Focus class Period 9 is the
team name and counselor name, this is not a class
Meeting days
indicate the days of the week the class will take place:
A - All
period day (Monday/Tuesday/Friday)
O - Odd day
block (Wednesday)
E - Even day
block (Thursday)
U - Unique
schedules on days we don’t have Falcon Focus Each day we will always have first
period!
For those students who may
require more time setting up or practicing their locker combination the building
will be open on Monday, August 27 from 3-6. Students may stop by during this
time. Please note staff will not be in the building during these hours.
September 14th is Woodson Football Feeder Night. Woodson Pyramid families are encouraged to attend this event. the combined Frost choirs will sing the National Anthem with the combined Woodson Choirs at this game.
