SAT and ACT Summer Test Prep Classes
start July 28th!
Non-WPHS students welcome. Grab a friend and register
together! Online registration has closed, but you can still call Applerouth at 202-558-5644 to
register.
Summer classes are semi-compressed – striking a balance
between covering the material in one month while not overwhelming you with too
much material in one day or week. It is summer after all.
SAT or ACT? If you haven’t
determined your test preference but do have time to take a summer prep class,
go with the ACT class. Ninety percent of the course content is the same for SAT
and ACT. The ACT course also covers strategies for the science section – good
to know even if you end up taking the official SAT. Classes include 3 mock
tests and you can try out both tests to see which you prefer.
Seniors – Here’s your last
chance to prep and increase your score for fall college applications! Want to
know what your best score can mean in dollars? Check out the scholarships from the
University of Alabama (from $24,000 up to full tuition, housing for 1 year
+ $8,000 in stipend, books, and summer/international study!) Increasing your
test score can mean more college choices and more scholarship dollars! Summer
classes prep for the August 25th official SAT and the September 8th
official ACT. Both tests are also offered in October.
Juniors – Think about how
busy this school year will be! If you’ve already taken Algebra 2, summer test
prep is the perfect way to avoid loading more into your junior school year
schedule, freeing up time to focus on your grades! Applerouth’s studies have
shown that students who test earlier in their junior year actually score higher.
Most students take the official tests 3 times so summer prep will have you
ready to get three tests in before winter break. Wouldn’t that be nice?

registration for mocks ($28.00) is available as space allows.
